: We chose this facility at the last minute because we needed lodging close to Joshua Tree National Park. It's about 30 minutes away from the Park.
: This facility was probably built in the 1950's and has had little attention since then. We had broken furniture in our room. The desk clerk had somehow either given away our Booking reservation or didn't get it. She blamed Booking as near as I could tell; English was clearly not her first language and I struggled to understand the message she was trying to convey to us. Luckily she found another room that would accommodate the three of us (it was late in the evening) but then the next morning I received a Booking email that we were being charged an extra amount. I spoke with the same desk clerk before checking out but she didn't understand why I got the email and wouldn't confirm that we wouldn't see the extra charge. We felt lucky to escape with no bed bugs but there was a cockroach on the lobby front desk that morning. I would never return here.

  : Room was comfortable.
: This place was still being renovated. Pools were dirty. It was way over priced. No room service and I stayed three nights.

: The fact that I was leaving the hotel in the morning
: Where do I start? First, if you you haven't reserved a room here or are contemplating it, DON'T! Upon arrival my requested room was not ready even after arriving after check had started. I was told to use another room temporarily while waiting which turned out to also not be ready and was dirty. After being moved/requesting a suitable room four times in a row the final room was in poor shape with missing blinds in the kitchen, a power strip connected across/above the kitchen sink! water+electricity = bad!, no thresh hold under the door (allows flys in), holes in the wall above the head board, only 8 TV channels offered, half of which were not in English. One room had writing on the wall in the bathroom. The main pool and thermal pools all had sediment in them and were not clean. Towels were left strewn around the pool area for 1.5 days. The property past the central buildings is in complete dis-repair with broken pick-nick tables and children's play equipment as well as the grass/weeds growing high in those areas. Pick-nick tables and areas on the property were not clean or maintained. Finally, when I had requested a refund during check-in due to the condition of the property the manager/owner would not issue one. Again if you value your vacation and are looking for quality DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. If there were a way to give a negative score I would. By the way this property has been in this state for quite a while based on the other reviews, there is NO sign of renovation or remodeling. The manager/owner at this property is not flexible or understanding if you have objections to the conditions, beware.

: I only liked the pools and sauna and the pool area.
: I didn’t like the room. Everything was old. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. Only 8 channels on TV. A broken stove and no kitchen amenities. The worst thing is that there wasn’t any room service. We asked for towels the lady said she doesn’t have it. We asked for toilet paper, she said they ordered and haven’t received it yet so we had to go out and buy it. The most important thing is that she charged me an extra 50$ for no reason. I showed her my confirmation that I paid all taxes too but she started yelling at me in front of other people. This lady is crazy and so rude.

: The spa was great. The location was quiet. The rooms in the main complex were recently renovated. Stater Bros is a mile south for those missing room supplies.
: The manager was disorganized. She tried to charge us extra. Most of the facility is deserted. The price was exceptionally high for what we got. The supplies one would expect in a hotel were missing. The manager had to get the towels. The TV only has Asian programs.

: Honestly, this stay was worst up to now. Women on the reception was totaly confused, she didn't know how to use my credit card for payment. The room and facilities is old, it is different than it is show on the website. I don't recommend it. Only hot tube was positive, but it is also old without any maintenance.
